To become a sales
associate, you must attend a 63 hour course and complete an end of
course examination with a passing grade of 70% or better. When
you application has been approved, you then must take a state examination and
score a 75% or better. Persons wishing to take the state
examination for pre-licensing sales, must be at least 18 years old and have a
high school diploma or the equivalency.
During the first license
renewal period, (18 - 24 months after your license has been issued), a 45 hour Post License course must be taken with an end of course
examination. You must pass that exam with a 75% or better.
